| 英文描述 | Pili torti is a condition resulting from twisting of the hair shafts about their long axes. Seven kittens from a single litter, the product of a sibling mating of domestic-shorthaired cats, were normal at birth but developed rapidly progressive alopecia and systemic signs, with death usually occurring by one month of age. Light microscopy showed rotation of the majority of secondary hair shafts. Dx by hair examination. |
